President Donald Trump on Tuesday asked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) what it might be like to date Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), creating an awkward scene as Greene’s boyfriend looked on.
Trump, during a visit to his administration’s controversial new “Alligator Alcatraz” migration detention center in the Everglades, came across Real America’s Voice’s Brian Glenn, who is dating Greene.
Trump introduced DeSantis to Glenn.
“Hi, Brian. Ron, this is the boyfriend, very lucky, of Marjorie Taylor Greene,” said the president.
“Oh really?” replied DeSantis.
Trump informed DeSantis who Glenn works for, then asked the governor: “Do you think it’s easy being with Marjorie?”
DeSantis laughed off the question and Trump and DeSantis eventually moved on.
Glenn shared a video of the moment on X, formerly Twitter.
“I’m not going to answer that… kidding!!” he wrote of Trump’s question about whether “it’s easy being” with Greene. Both are huge Trump supporters.
He then added that conspiracy theory-floating, anti-Islam remark-making Greene is “a joy to be with and I love her with all my heart.”
Greene shared her beau’s post on X with a smiling face with hearts emoji.
